In this blog post, I’ll be elaborating on the steps required to integrate Gravity Forms with Stripe Payment Gateway on WordPress. This integration can really be extremely meaningful if you want to setup payments on WordPress for a simple product, service or event without getting into the hassle of having an full fledged ecommerce mechanism.
Integrate Gravity Forms with Stripe
Step 1 – Purchase Gravity Forms Pro or Elite License to download Stripe Payment Addon for Gravity Forms
This is a mandatory requirement as this addon is a part of series of pro addons that gravity forms offers with its pro and elite license. I think it comes for an affordable price. You can buy the said license by clicking the link here – https://bit.ly/34K1iYz
Step 2 – Install the Add-On and Connect it to Stripe
A quick head over to gravity forms settings section and then to the stripe panel on the left hand side shall reveal a Connect With Stripe button. On clicking, it will redirect you to stripe dashboard. You can login and it’ll redirect back to your WordPress dashboard on successful connection and display a connected message.
Step 3 – Generation of Signing Secret of a Web Hook Endpoint
Just below the Webhooks enabled checkbox, you will find a Instructions link on clicking, you will be shown a redirect link along with a link of page where you have to add an endpoint to trigged the webhook for all events. You can add the redirect link in that webhook and then save it.
On saving it, you will see that a Signing Secret Key shall be automatically generated. You can click reveal it, copy it and head over to your dashboard stripe addon settings page and paste the said code. Check the box for webhooks enable and click on update.
If you have followed all the steps correctly, it shall result in successful integration of your stripe account and gravity forms plugin.
Step 4 – Integrating a Form Transaction with Stripe
You can simply add the stripe credit card field in any gravity form. On saving the same, you shall be requested to generate a stripe feed. Click on Add Feed, select the product or service type, amount field and if you want to send a stripe receipt. Synchronize the address fields and save the feed.
And that is it, you have perfectly integrated Stripe with Gravity Forms.
